Visible Veins

Understanding Visible Veins
Visible veins, such as broken capillaries, spider veins, or diffuse facial redness, are often the result of dilated or damaged blood vessels just beneath the skin's surface. These appear as fine red or purple lines, typically on the cheeks, nose, or chin, and can be caused by factors such as sun exposure, genetics, ageing, hormonal changes, or a compromised skin barrier. While they’re common and generally harmless, many people seek treatment to restore a more even complexion. At Pelle, we use advanced, non-invasive laser technology to gently and precisely target these vessels, improving clarity and reducing redness without damaging the surrounding skin.
Common Vascular Concerns We Treat
These fine, thread-like red vessels are often caused by sun damage, skin trauma, or genetics and can become more prominent with age or temperature changes.
Small, branching veins that may appear blue, red, or purple in colour and are commonly found on the legs or upper body, often due to hormonal changes or prolonged standing.
Persistent facial redness or flushing may result from widened superficial blood vessels, frequently seen in conditions like rosacea or reactive skin.
Following breakouts or skin injury, some individuals may experience lasting red marks due to vascular dilation or healing response in the affected area.
