LASER TREATMENTS

Pigmentation Laser

Living on the Sunshine Coast means your skin is regularly exposed to strong UV rays, often resulting in sun-induced pigmentation, freckles, and uneven skin tone over time. At Pelle, we use advanced Cutera laser technology to safely and effectively treat a wide range of pigmentation concerns.

This non-invasive treatment works by targeting excess melanin within the skin. The laser gently breaks down pigment particles, allowing your body to naturally eliminate them through its lymphatic system. With each session, you'll notice your skin becoming clearer, brighter, and more even, all without harming the surrounding tissue.

Our team treats pigmentation concerns including sunspots, age spots, freckles, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, with treatment plans tailored to your skin type and concern.

treatable concerns

Common on sun-exposed areas like the face, hands, and décolletage, these spots respond well to targeted pigment treatment.

Whether hereditary or caused by sun exposure, freckles and uneven pigmentation can be visibly reduced to achieve a more balanced skin tone.

Discolouration left behind after acne or skin trauma can be gently faded over time.

Laser treatments help restore clarity to these often-overlooked but commonly affected areas.

Repeated sun exposure leads to cumulative pigment changes. Laser helps reverse visible signs of environmental stress.

Pigmentation laser treatments use advanced technology to target and break down excess melanin in the skin. At Pelle, we use the Cutera system to safely and effectively treat pigmentation while preserving the health of surrounding tissue.

This treatment is ideal for common concerns like sunspots, freckles, age spots, and uneven skin tone, particularly those caused by prolonged sun exposure or hormonal changes. Living on the Sunshine Coast means many of us are exposed to higher UV levels, which makes managing pigmentation a key part of skin health.

Most skin types can benefit from pigmentation laser, but an initial consultation is required to ensure suitability and safety. Clients with melasma or deeper pigment types may require a tailored approach.

Yes, we strongly recommend a full-body skin check with your GP or dermatologist prior to any pigmentation treatment. This ensures that all pigmented lesions are safe to treat and not suspicious or requiring further investigation.

It’s ideal for sunspots, freckles, age spots, and uneven pigmentation caused by sun exposure or hormonal changes.

Some pigmentation can be treated in 1–2 sessions, while deeper or more widespread pigmentation may require a series of treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart.

Downtime is minimal. You may notice temporary redness, slight swelling, or darkening of the pigment before it flakes away within a few days.

You can expect a gradual fading of unwanted pigmentation such as sun spots, freckles, or uneven skin tone. After each session, treated areas may initially darken before flaking off or fading over the following days. With a series of treatments, most clients notice a clearer, more even complexion and a visible improvement in skin clarity and radiance. Individual results vary depending on the depth and type of pigmentation, as well as your skin type and post-treatment care. Your dermal therapist will guide you on a personalised plan to achieve optimal results.

All pigmentation laser treatments are performed by our highly experienced and qualified dermal therapists, ensuring your treatment is safe, effective, and tailored to your skin.

Meticulously passionate about your skin.
