Dehydration AND Dryness
HYDRATE AND PLUMP
Understanding DEHYDRATION
Dry or dehydrated skin occurs when the skin’s natural moisture levels are compromised, either from a lack of oil, water, or both. This can lead to visible flaking, tightness, rough texture, and an overall dull appearance. Common causes include environmental exposure, air conditioning, ageing, harsh skincare products, or an impaired skin barrier. Unlike naturally dry skin, dehydration can affect all skin types, even oily ones. At Pelle, we focus on rehydrating from within and strengthening the skin’s barrier, using gentle, nourishing treatments that restore softness, resilience, and long-lasting radiance, without harsh or stripping ingredients.
Common Dryness Concerns We Treat
Dehydrated skin often feels tight or uncomfortable, especially after cleansing, and may have a coarse or uneven surface due to lack of moisture within the skin’s layers.
Without adequate hydration, skin can develop visible dry patches, flakiness, and a lacklustre tone, making makeup harder to apply and reducing overall radiance.
Temporary fine lines can appear more pronounced when the skin lacks water, especially around the eyes and mouth, giving the skin a tired or aged look.
Healthy skin has a supple, plump appearance. Dehydration reduces elasticity and glow, leaving skin looking flat, fatigued, and less vibrant.
